Their mission is to empower foster care youth to maximize their potential by providing essential academic support and guidance.
Without dedicated guidance and support, children in foster care face unimaginable academic adversity due to a lack of basic skills, frequent changes to home and school placement, and emotional upheaval.
In fact, only 46% of youth in foster care graduate high school and less than 3% graduate college, but they firmly believe that educational achievement is the greatest counterweight to these challenges.
