Emily Lawless is Hooked on Hospice!
Emily Lawless, CHW is a Care Coordinator with Allegiance Home Health. Allegiance provides compassionate and trustworthy healthcare professionals in your home. Allegiance can help relieve the stress of caring for your loved one. They provide nurses, caregivers, physical, occupational and speech therapists. Trustbridge is one of their community partners and together they can provide compassionate care.
Emily knows the importance of quality care for those in need. Many people have witnessed a loved one who has become ill and the burden of care falls on the family. In Emily’s own life, she watched her grandmother take care of her great-grandmother for several years. This task was very wearing on her grandmother.
Over the summer months, Emily is Hooked on Hospice! She’s participating as a virtual “Angler” in The Hospice “Bill” Fishing Tournament. She has to reel in the biggest “catch” for the Virtual Weigh-In at the end of the contest.
All proceeds benefit Trustbridge Hospice Foundation and will support the important programs and services provided to the community, at no cost, which are above and beyond traditional hospice services: charity care, grief services for children and adults, camps for children, music therapy, pet therapy and extraordinary comfort measures.
Trustbridge Hospice Foundation, supporting Hospice of Palm Beach/Broward County and Hospice by the Sea, is the philanthropic arm of Trustbridge. It is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our community. Each year, nearly 12,000 new patients coping with life-limiting illnesses and their families benefit from these programs during their time of greatest need.
