By day Emily Lawless is a Care Coordinator with Allegiance Home Health, but by night she’s a Rockstar singing to raise money for the Golden Bell Education Foundation (Golden Bell)! 

The Golden Bell Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was created in 1991 by the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Board, for the sole purpose of supporting the Boca Raton Public School System and administering education programs that promote business skills and workforce readiness.

Since its inception, Golden Bell has granted more than 1.8 million dollars to our public schools and impacted 850,000 students. Once a year, Boca Raton Public Schools K-12 are invited to submit applications for a Golden Bell Grant and funds are awarded to deserving, innovative programs such as, but not limited to, those highlighting:

  • Literacy
  • STEM- Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
  • Career Guidance and Preparedness
  • Vocational Instruction

To raise the necessary funds to support our public schools, Golden Bell is hosting “Season 4 of TRUIST Golden Bell Battle of the Bands” competition, which features our local business and community leaders who have no musical experience as band members. In partnership with the School of Rock Boca Raton, band members will learn real musical skills. 

Allegiance Home Health’s Emily Lawless, will be participating in the Golden Bell Battle of the Bands.

By day, Emily is a Care Coordinator with Allegiance Home Health. Allegiance provides nurses, therapists, and private caregivers in your home.

By night, Emily is excited to be lead singer of the band “Emotional Damage”! Since June she has been taking singing lessons, practicing with her band, and raising money for Golden Bell. All this will lead up to the big rock concert competition on September 24th here in Boca Raton.

Emily says, “There is nothing she’d rather do than act like a Rockstar today, for the Rockstars of tomorrow!”

Come on & cheer her on, along with other local business and community leaders, as we jam out in support of Golden Bell at “Season 4 of TRUIST Golden Bell Battle of the Bands” competition on September 24, 2022 from 6 to 10 p.m.! 

All proceeds will benefit the Golden Bell Education Foundation.
