Rosie Inguanzo-Martin of Allegiance Home Health honored by American Association of Caregiving Youth
Boca Raton, FL, – Rosie Inguanzo-Martin, CEO/Owner of Allegiance Home Health was honored during the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Festival Days for her continued support of the non-profit American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY). Mrs. Inguanzo-Martin has sponsored the fundraising event for the second year in a row. She states, “I feel it is so important to give back to the community and I can’t think of a better way than helping the American Association of Caregiving Youth.
The AACY is a Boca Raton based foundation providing resources to youth that are put in the position of being the primary caregiver for their parents, grandparents and/or siblings. Mrs. Inguanzo-Martin states, “These children are put in an unimaginable position of being the caregiver of their household. There are days these children don’t have time to do their homework or participate in extracurricular activities. Some of these children can’t even attend school. We try to do anything we can to help them.” The AACY is a national organization that assists many children in Palm Beach County especially Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach.
Mrs. Inguanzo-Martin’s friend Bucky Dent, the 1978 World Series MVP of the New York Yankees, has attended the event for the second year in a row. Mr. Dent also dedicates his time as a youth advocate through his foundation Legends on the Links. Legends on the Links raises money for youth organizations. His foundation has supported many children in Delray Beach, Florida who don’t have the funds to participate in Little League baseball.
